Corey Dillon, Founder & President

Corey created Threshold Strategy Group after spending 22 years helping other investment management firms grow their businesses. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Director of Advisory Services for ALPS, a DST Company. In this position, Corey helped lead the effort that saw ALPS evolve from a pure asset servicing company into a full-fledged asset management firm. With a focus on non-traditional asset classes, ALPS witnessed growth in AUM from roughly $1 billion to more than $15 billion during his tenure.

Prior to ALPS, Corey spent 14 years with Janus Capital Group in a variety of roles, ranging from Investor Services to serving as Vice President and Director of Global Client Management. As one of Janus' first intermediary wholesalers in the late 90's, he had a front row seat to one of the greatest expansions ever seen in the asset management industry, and went on to earn valuable crisis management experience with the subsequent challenges of the early 2000's. 

Corey's areas of expertise include mutual fund and variable insurance product design, product development, product management, sales strategy, intermediary distribution, sub-advisory management and sales, and sales implementation in the broker-dealer, RIA, variable insurance, and retirement markets. He remains a frequent speaker on topics related to the latest trends in the investment management industry.*
